Dr. Donald Walker
Dr. Walker is the Head Coach of the
Alamo Heights High School Swimming Team as well as Head Coach of the Alamo
Area Aquatic Association (DT). He received his Doctorate from Texas A&M
University, Masters from the University of The Incarnate Word and Bachelors
from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Walker is a former NCAA and
NAIA All-American swimmer and, has coached swimmers from Olympic Trial to
Developmental levels. He was recently named 2014 NFHS Girls State Coach of
the Year and 2014 TISCA Girls State Coach of the Year. In addition, Dr.
Walker was honored as the Girls Regional Coach of the Year (2014, 2015,
2016) and, Boys Regional Coach of the Year (2014)
Head Age Group Coach
Rusty Ives is a graduate of University of Texas at San Antonio and also from Highlands High School. Coach Rusty competed as a Varsity swimmer for the Highlands Owls and has coached swimmers who have earned numerous honors. His swimmers have qualified for All State Honors, Sectionals and Texas Age-Group State Championships. In addition to being the Head Age Group Coach for the San Antonio Nadadores, Rusty serves as Head Coach of Incarnate Word High School and Head Coach for the San Antonio Parks and Recreation Swimming Team.
Head Novice Coach
Mrs. Marsch has more than 40 years of experience teaching toddlers and elementary school age children how to swim and basic water safety skills. She attended and Coached at the University of Minnesota.
Assistant Novice Coach
Martha Dominguez is a graduate of Brackenridge High School and competed as a Varsity swimmer for the Eagles. She coaches developmental swimmers and teaches the basics of the four competitive strokes to the young Nadadore swimmers. In addition, Martha is an Assistant Coach for the San Antonio Parks and Recreation Swim Team.
